Throughout my career I have always been involved in some way, shape or form at building and implementing formality through the development of frameworks, processes, policies and standards all with an underlying focus on improvement.
I have natural instinct to work through and understand the big picture and love the challenge of working out how to leverage my experience and skills to drive real improvements and results combined with a genuine Interest in helping people to develop and improve.
I was introduced to ITIL, the global best practice for IT Service Management in the early 2000's and spent the next five years learning as much as I could both academically; by becoming a certified ITIL expert and practically by applying my learnings across a large number of high profile IT transitions and transformations for many blue chip organisations. During this time I was fortunate enough to work with some great people and gain a significant amount of ITSM Implementation experience across a variety of sectors including Utilities, Telecommunications, Banking & Finance, Government & Public Sector and Transportation industries.
In 2010 I established Service Management Specialists with the intent to share my learnings and experience further; I wanted to establish a way to help people to become more successful with their ITSM Improvement challenges, since then I have assisted hundreds of people all over the world and I continue to learn as part of some of the most complex and exciting ITSM programs across Australia and the ASIA region. Service Management Specialists is continuing to grow, forging strong trusted relationships with clients and partners to deliver innovative ITSM guidance and solutions.
